Standard "差的" KL Marathon 2009

1 word can said " SAD SAD SAD ", 1st 3Km 24min my ITB was make me cant run anymore even walk also pain like !@#$%^&*()_+ " what can i do ? :( from way so call "Curi Ayam". Jalan Loke Yew > Pudu > Kampung Pandan roundbout > Ampang Park LRT > KLCC Convention Centre > Standard "差的" Bank > Jalan Raja Chulan > Masjid Jamek > Dataran Merdeka . take 3 hours 20min to reach end points. now can see it , rest for my medicial Checkup . hope June 2010 i will be back on the race again !

To SCKLM organiser : i dont mind pay more money for register fee . most of the ppl complain abou that lousy finisher T-shirt and Medal . RM50 cant expect too much , is ok . hope next year can improve like Singapore Marathon , even take me SGD150 (Late Entry) for register fee , i happy to pay that and get better goodies.

In my eye what to imrpove ? feed back

1. Race Kit Collecting : More counter . 42Km just 3 laptop for collecting ? ...... is 1900 runners for two days period only. and additional race bib with name easier to arrange all in 1 pack ready . need more volunteer kits collecting days .
2. Traffic problem : Race start earlier , i saw alot driver waiting runner pass , argue & scolding traffic police .
3. 42km Runner : Collecting medal , Finisher T- shirt . i hear the veteran runner is tired after the race still walk so far to collect . can make it nearer 50-100m range from end points ? finisher lane by lane for category, avoid crash .
4. Timing system : Champion chip
5. Water station : somewhere water station missing and close 30+ km ? . my friends was "WTH" is that , suffering ! he;s finish at 4.40.00 still early .
6. Medal & Finisher T-shirt , we also hope Standard Chartered KL Marathon in list of "The Greatest Race On earth".

哈哈哈,没错!这场马拉松真是差地不得了。没有什么“standard”.

Anyway, do take care of the injury though...slowly and steady...start with shorter races first :)
